Patrice-Exercise 2-Sliding "Do-So-Do"

 Sliding "Do-So-Do"

This exercise helps with lift, connectivity, and consistency. Starting on a vowel, have the student sing low "do" for two counts. Then have them slide up to "so" for two counts. Then have them return to "do" for two counts. Have the student ascend by half steps. As the student ascends, change the vowel to practice different placements ([i], [o], [u], [a], etc.) You can also have the student practice changing vowel sounds from "do" to "so" then back ([i, o, i]).
