Lip Buzz Descending and Ascending Scale
- Start around the middle of the voice and lip buzz down a 5 note scale, back up the scale, then down again. i.e. (5432123454321). Repeat this working down and back up through the comfortable range.
- This exercise is to work on breath support. Make sure to get a good breath in and maintain steady airflow and sound. This exercise can be adapted by slowing down the scale or by adding more ascending and descending passages to continue to develop breath support as it improves improves.
