Saige Barlow - Exercise 2 - “Oo” in an octave

In this exercise, I start off by softly singing “oo” on a treble C and slide down and land on a middle C as if it’s heavy. One analogy I think of with this is dropping my backpack on the floor. Then, I go either up or down and then jump around from there. By that point, I start the exercise, but then I slide back up and then down keeping the same sound in mind (high “oo” is soft and lower “oo” is heavier).

The intention of this exercise is to create a consistent flow of air while keeping the larynx in the same place even despite the change of dynamics.
