Sing 54321 [fi fe fi fe fe] with an upward turn on each note. Do it with a grin and bright eyes. By using vowels with high tongue posture, this helps your tongue release and helps you find a good resonance. The smile helps keep you energized and also helps keep your tongue from being stuck. The quick moving notes, again, help your tongue and wake up your folds. For an extra step you can keep it in your upper register for as long as possible.
