Patrice-Recital Hour-10/02

 Sadie Carlson

Loch Lomond

  • There is a nasal quality that sounds like it stops her sound from releasing fully

Lauren Clark

The Garten Mother's Lullaby

  • An airy sound slips through
  • ground your breath in your body, release your sound above you
  • When you descend you have more support- what is changing?
  •  Beautiful!

Archer Dame

For Forever

  • Dude- this outfit though.
  • I see a lot of Ben Platt in your mannerisms and vocal decisions.
  • The second verse has so much support! Don't lose that support when you sing "piano"
  • This bridge though- 👏👏
  • Great falsetto, sometimes it needs a bit more support
Tanner Doyle

O Del Mio Amato Ben

  • Great focus on your higher notes
  • There is a slight nasal tone
  • Sounds like a need to find more lift in the soft pallet and a more focused sound to the front
  • Don't be afraid to open your mouth on [i] vowels

Lily Goodworth

Mozart

  • You started this song and I thought wow!
  • The quality of you voice is gorgeous on this song!
  • You do have air escaping your tone, find support clear down to you abdomen
  • I am captivated by your smile

Hannah H

Brahms

  • Your vowels are a bit wide
  • Is there support from your chest voice?
  • Great tone and focus

Emily Hill

Crudale

  • Your sound is more in your nasal cavity rather than your soft pallet
  • You are gasping as you breath in, find the support/expansion down in your diaphragm

Cassie Ingles

Sympathy

  • You voice floats
  • Your lower notes lose support
  • Don't be afraid to open your mouth to articulate

Jessie Kiester

I Want the Good Times Back

  • You are a captivating perform
  • Great job! You tend lose support when you try to be softer
  • Find support for your higher belts

Miranda Mann

Everything Happens to Me

  • Great support on your sustained notes
  • Try singing the song legato and connected- keep that sustain throughout

Brynlee Downes

Make Me Whole

  • "Touch my heart" was good, but I could hear you tightening in preparation for the higher note. Bring the space for that higher note down to touch my heart
  • Don't sacrifice support for dynamics
  • Great belt!

Annica Kropf

I've Decided to Marry You

  • Great job!!
