Kennan Thompson - Smith - Ch. 4-6
I enjoyed reading through these chapters. I noticed that I've done all (or at least some variation) of the exercises in these section. My favorites are from the free flowing air section. I do this in almost every practice, lesson, or warm-up because it helps me open up so much. Of course, the idea is to get the air flowing through your body. I also like the idea of speaking simply. Sometimes I tend to complicate singing...but as Harold Hill says "singing is just sustained talking." It helps me think of that too because I not only relax, but I also emote better I sing it as I would if I were saying it.
