I’m reminded of the phrase “Anyone can cook” from the Pixar movie “Ratatouille”. Anyone is capable of developing that skill. It is just developing the myelin for that skill. I also really liked what that Russian tennis coach said: "Technique is everything". When Coyle visited the string players, and learned that they would cut up their music and learn them in different orders, I thought that was a great idea, and I want to implement that into my practice.
Like I commented about in class, I also thought it was very interesting to see that the Brontë sisters would collaboratively practice deep learning with each other and their brother.
