I haven't had a voice lesson yet, but my first one is on Monday so I will have more to say next week!

Recital Hour:

Being in recital hour this week was such a treat. I'm sure it is exciting for us all to be performing in front of REAL people again rather than digital versions of our peers. I wanted to focus on Patrice's performance. The overall performance was phenomenal! I loved seeing her connection to the audience through both facials and body movements. Her eyes moved around the room, connecting with different people, without being distracting. The color changes between her low, middle, and high ranges were so stunning! The were cohesive enough, too, to not make me feel caught off guard. It was very obvious that she's put a lot of deep practice into this piece as it seemed like second nature to her. She was overall very fun to watch and incredibly pleasing to listen to!
