Sadie Carlson - something by Patrick M. Leibergen
The beginning sounds like “Book of Mormon Stories” from Primary.
A lot better projection today! The core support is really strong.
The nasality is still there, so I would suggest taking the sound out of your nose and lifting the soft palate a little more.
Kennan sung this once!
This is a Scottish folk song
I think you should add a Scottish accent! I can hear an Irish accent, which means you’re on the right track. :)
Lauren C. - The Gartan Mother’s Lullaby
A little breathy, but the dynamics tie well to music therapy.
I think the top notes could be a little lighter, since those are easy to make sound louder.
Very smooth and legato, and the straight tone texture is very appropriate, even if it might not be intentional all the time.
I’m sensing a little tension in the throat, and I think releasing that might help.
Archer D. - “For Forever” form Dear Evan Hansen
Your voice type fits well with this song!
The expression is perfect! Or, at least it reminds me of what Ben Platt does in the movie.
You’re spontaneously creating a story that you wish was true, but it brings joy and helps relieve the pain from the reality of what happened. I can see that really well!
It is clearly a way for you to know that things are okay.
I noticed that the higher notes are harder for you to belt, and if you can figure that out I think that will enhance the way you sing the louder and higher section.
Tanner Doyle - O Mio Mato Ben
The facial expression is spot on! Love how you started and ended that way.
You maintained the message very clearly and very strongly! Well done!
Very in tune
It’s hard to use good emotional expression while singing a little more straight tone, and you do really well at that!
The diction is excellent! Man, I love Italian!
Lily G. - Ridente La Calma
I’ve sung this song before, but in a higher key (F major)!
Seems a slight bit tense, but it sounds gorgeous.
You seem to be moving your lips quite drastically, and I don’t think you need to.
I love how you portray the fact that you are content. Remember that the context is also that it’s about expressing forgiveness.
A little breathy at times, and I think you can use the notes where the notes are a little clearer and make that more consistent.
Hannah H. - Moshcenate… (that’s not how you spell it, but that’s what it sounded like. Forgive me, I don’t speak German)
Very forward and vibrant! Your voice is also very clear, and I love it!
Sometimes, there’s a little tension, but that can easily be fixed.
Very minimal movement in the lips, which is not a bad thing. In fact, using less movement helps with diction and doesn’t interfere with your projection at all!
Emily H. - Sorry, I missed it
A little far back, which might be causing some tension. It might have something to do with nerves.
The projection is pretty good! I think you’re core support is doing well for you.
I would suggest bringing the sound a little more forward and having stronger conveyance of the text, and you’re there.
Cassie Ingles - Sympathy (In Thee I Bear So Dear Apart)
I’ve sung this before! Such a pretty song!
Very forward and clear!
I can understand the words pretty well!
There’s a little bit of tension, and I suspect it might have something to do with nerves or something else.
Oh my gosh, you sound a lot like Aubrey Roskelley!! You two should meet sometime. She’s absolutely amazing!
Jessie K. - “I Want the Good Times Back” from The Little Mermaid
Oh yes, this is one of Ursula’s songs!!
The use of the chest voice and core support is just perfect!!!
The diction is spot on for this character!
I can tell you are really invested in your character!
You have a LOT of great acting ideas, and I am so invested!
Nice high A!
I want to listen to this over and over now!
Miranda M. - Everything Happens to Me
Very simply beautiful voice!
Like a Disney princess! Perhaps, Aurora?
This song might be from the Golden Age.
A lot less breathy than it was last time.
Brynlee D. - “Make Me Whole” from Lamb of God
What an ambitious song choice! I love it!!
A little bit of tension in the throat, and it’s probably a result of swallowed sound.
Excellent core support!
Less compensation in the throat and the mouth.
I love how you convey the message and the music! It fits really well!
Man, I absolutely love this song, and I love Lamb of God! I did it twice with ZYSC, and it was awesome!
It’s also the kind of song that
Annica Bella K. - sneak peak of scenes! - excerpt from A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder
Sibella - Annica Bella
Monty - Gideon Benge
Phoebe - someone else I can’t remember her name though. I think it might be Olivia Call?
I’m so excited about this!
The acting is fantastic!
The diction is very clear!
Very entertaining and hilarious!
