My lesson today went ok. I ran through all of my pieces for my recital. By the end my voice was pretty tired. I think I can have a lot less jaw movement as I sing. I need to focus on having a relaxed jaw and look for any opportunity to not move it. I've been working on keeping my tongue forward, so I think I should be able to use my tongue more as my articulator when I can, rather than compensating with my jaw. By the end of going through my rep, I was a lot more open which was very helpful in getting a more full sound. I also noticed that there were times that I could be more grounded which would help be much more open.
