Okay, so it looks like I read the wrong chapter last night, so whoops. Haha! Anyway, I thought a lot of the things in this chapter were very straight-forward, and they connect well with what I believe about drugs and alcohol anyway. My mom took voice lessons in college (she was not a music major), so she likes to use that to her advantage and to our family’s advantage. One thing she has been really pushing is speaking well, which I agree with, and what do you know—it’s in this chapter! Anyway, I thought it was great that it talked about self-love and self-care being extremely important though, because I am often so busy and have believed for myself that heavy workloads meant success. However, The voice disorders have always scared me, because I care a lot about my voice and could never imagine a life without being able to sing. It was good to learn a little more about those though, so I can avoid them.
