- Energy, practice and commitment are also necessary for developing talent. The idea that you can do it too can be super powerful- if one person can do it, it demonstrates that others can as well.

Application: I've noticed this in myself. Hearing some people sing the way I want to sing unlocks something inside myself and I can do something I wasn't able to do previously. My first lesson with Thomas was like this, sometimes listening to other higher baritone and tenor voices is like this. Listening, then, will be a key application of this.

- One person can be the trigger. Often it's someone nobody expected. As talent spreads in one place, the fire is kept alive.
Application: I am not aware of any opera singers from Utah but I will look into it.

- Schools should not be funded by property taxes.
- Attention to detail is vital.
Application: Borrow techniques from other sources. Focus in on the tiniest of details in my voice. What can I feel? What do I want to feel?
